The Tiny Web Factory ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use our contact form or brief builder, you may provide us with:

  • Name and email address
  • Company or business name
  • Project details and requirements
  • Website URLs (existing sites)

This information is provided voluntarily and is used solely to respond to your inquiry and deliver our services if you choose to proceed.

Automatically Collected Information

We do not run a website analytics service on this site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site securely (see Third-Party Services below).

Advertising measurement (only with your consent)

We advertise on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To see whether those ads work, this site can load two tags: the Google Ads conversion tag and the Meta Pixel.

These tags load only after you press Accept on our cookie banner. If you press Reject, or make no choice, neither tag loads and nothing is sent to Google or Meta.

When they run, the tags collect:

  • your IP address
  • browser and device information, such as browser type, operating system and screen size
  • the address of the page you are on and the page that referred you
  • what you do on the site, such as page views and clicks on our WhatsApp link
  • cookie identifiers, such as Meta's _fbp cookie and Google's _gcl_* cookies

We use this to measure how our ad campaigns perform. It lets Google and Meta tell us when someone who saw or clicked one of our ads reached this site or contacted us.

Google and Meta process this data under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy. Both companies process data in other countries, so this data may be transferred outside South Africa.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer of every page, or here: . Once you withdraw, the tags stop loading. Withdrawing does not delete data Google or Meta already received. To ask them to delete it, use the privacy settings in your Google or Meta account.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and project requests
  • Create and deliver website projects
  • Communicate about ongoing services and support
  • Send invoices and process payments

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Apart from the advertising tags described above, which run only with your consent, we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We will never send you unsolicited marketing emails.

Cookies

This site uses two kinds of cookies.

  • Essential cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set cookies needed for security and performance, such as protection against bots and DDoS attacks. They are not used for advertising and do not need your consent.
  • Advertising cookies. Google (for example _gcl_au) and Meta (for example _fbp) set these only if you accept. See Advertising measurement above.

We keep your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask on every page. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us or anyone else.

Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP addresses) as necessary to deliver our website securely. Cloudflare runs a global network, so this processing may happen outside South Africa. Cloudflare's privacy policy can be found at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy .

If you accept advertising cookies, Google and Meta also receive data as described under Advertising measurement above.

If you submit a form, the submission may be processed through email or (if configured) a form handling service. We will inform you of any such services at the point of collection.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
